Hello! My name is Kyle Nix, and I teach 3rd grade at Bryant Elementary School. I also coach 7th and 8th Grade boys and girls basketball for Bridgeport Middle school. I grew up in Section, Alabama and graduated from Section High School in 2008. I attended Northeast Alabama Community College, The University of Alabama, and Athens State University before graduating from there with my bachelor's degree in Collaborative Education. Before working at BMS, I served as a Special Education teacher at Collins Elementary in Scottsboro and I also taught PE at Bridgeport Elementary for a short time. This is my sixth year teaching. I graduated from Auburn University with my Master's in Educational Leadership. I live in Trenton, Georgia with my wife, Jordan, daughter, Hensley, and our two dogs, Woody and Hargrove. When I'm not working or spending time with my family, I like to be outdoors either golfing or kayaking and fishing. I also like to go to the movies, go out to eat at new places, play video games, and watch whatever new TV shows are out.
